Our extra-curricular highlights
Mini Woolworths
Our Mini Woolies program provides students with hands-on retail experience in a simulated supermarket environment. Students develop practical skills in money handling, customer service, and workplace communication, helping them build confidence and independence for future employment opportunities.
Work Experience
Through our Work Experience program, students engage in meaningful placements within the school and the local community. These experiences allow them to explore career pathways, develop job-readiness skills, and gain a sense of responsibility and achievement in simulated and/or real-world settings.
School Spectacular
Each year, students have the chance to audition for an opportunity to showcase their skills as part of the School Spectacular program. This exciting event allows them to perform alongside students from across New South Wales, celebrating creativity, inclusion, and the joy of performance.
Dance Group
The Broderick Gillawarna School Dance Group gives students the opportunity to express themselves creatively through movement and music. Students build confidence, teamwork, and coordination while preparing for performances at school events.
Band
School band helps students develop teamwork, creativity, discipline, and musical skills while building confidence, friendships, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
