External Service Providers

At Broderick Gillawarna School, we welcome the valuable contributions of external providers who support our students’ learning, wellbeing, and engagement. To ensure the safety and integrity of our school environment, all external providers must follow strict Department of Education guidelines and school-based procedures before engaging with students or staff. This includes completing all required documentation, holding valid Working with Children Checks, and receiving approval from school leadership prior to commencing any service or program on site. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in maintaining a safe and well-managed environment for our school community.

External providers are considered guests in the school. Their involvement must support the educational program and must not interrupt key learning or social participation opportunities. We prefer that external provider sessions take place outside of school hours wherever possible, as this helps ensure that students remain fully engaged in their class learning and daily routines. We understand that this is not always possible, and in these cases, we are happy to work collaboratively with families and providers to support arrangements that are purposeful, consistent, and in the best interests of the student.

To learn more or to discuss external provider involvement for your child, families are welcome to contact the school.
